Manus announced Manus 2.0 on September 28, 2026 as a new architecture: an agent harness called Cascade, Automations that start tasks on a schedule or when something happens in a connected service, and a Cloud Computer you can buy for projects that need to run continuously.
The desktop app became Manus Studio, covering documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, slides, websites, code, games and video. Its Video Editor is built for short product ads of 30 to 60 seconds, AI UGC, tutorials and motion graphics, with an editable timeline.
Remote Control and Computer Use let Manus work in its own visible workspace on your computer, in a connected and authorized session, using the files, browser and apps you have approved.
